Harmonies on canvas

Scales & Brushes is a fusion of music, emotion, and visual expression.

Each piece begins with a feeling—often sparked by a song—and evolves into a moment captured on canvas. My work is deeply personal, shaped by the thoughts I’m processing, the joy I’m experiencing, or the storms I’m navigating at the time of creation.

Every painting is more than an image—it is a reflection of an emotional space, translated through color, movement, and form.

I invite you to experience the work not just with your eyes, but with your senses—allowing the music, the energy, and the intention behind each piece to resonate with you.

Rooted in Vision, Guided by Emotion

My creative journey began behind the lens.

At twelve years old, I picked up my first 35mm camera and began capturing the world through light, composition, and perspective. I later learned to develop my own film —deepening my understanding of patience, process, and intentional creation.

Photography taught me how to see.
Painting taught me how to feel.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of both—guided by music, shaped by emotion, and expressed through visual form.

Experience the Vibe

Scales & Brushes is where music and emotion meet the canvas.

Each piece is created in response to a song that moved me in that moment—serving as both inspiration and emotional anchor throughout the process. The result is a body of work that reflects real, unfiltered experiences—moments of stillness, growth, joy, and introspection.

I invite you to listen as you explore the work… and experience the same energy that guided my hands and heart.

“Beautiful Expressions of a Vibe” is more than a tagline—it is the truth behind every piece I create.

Rooted in photography, expanded through paint, and guided by music.

My journey began with a brushstroke

On March 28, 2025, I sold my very first piece—an experience that shifted everything.

For years, art was deeply personal. A quiet space I kept to myself, never fully believing it was “good enough” to share. It was my escape—my way of processing, my way of feeling—but never something I imagined others would connect with.

That changed after a season of healing.

Following surgery, I began sharing my work—first on Snapchat, then expanding to Instagram and Facebook. What started as a vulnerable step became something much greater. Each piece shared was an act of trust, of growth, of stepping into who I was becoming.

That single moment—one painting, one decision—became the foundation for something bigger than I ever imagined.

Scales & Brushes was born from that leap.

Art as an escape

For me, art is a sanctuary.

Whether through lens or brush, it is a space where creativity flows freely—without pressure, without expectation. A place where I can process, release, and find clarity.

In my daily life, I navigate complex and often heavy realities. Art provides balance, allowing me to release that weight and return to a place of peace.

This is why I create.

Not just to make something beautiful—but to heal, to express, and to reconnect with myself.

"The beautiful piece that we have hanging in our home on the river feels like passion and peace all in one."
