Where memory, identity, and freedom converge.

Redemption is a visual tribute to heritage, liberation, and ancestral strength. Created in honor of Juneteenth, it reflects a journey from bondage to freedom—both historical and spiritual—expressed through culture, symbolism, and identity.

Structured in intentional sections, the canvas weaves together traditional African influences: red fields featuring mud cloth symbols, green spaces inspired by Kuba Kingdom designs, and yellow elements rooted in Swahili language and meaning. Each area carries a sense of legacy—embodying wisdom, resilience, loyalty, and the enduring presence of those who came before.

Inspired by Redemption Song by Bob Marley & The Wailers, this work echoes themes of self-emancipation and collective remembrance. It stands as both reflection and declaration—an expression of freedom that is reclaimed, remembered, and continuously carried forward.

Creating Redemption

Where memory lingers, suspended in stillness.

Frozen in Time is an abstract meditation on memory, stillness, and the quiet pull of moments that remain. Structured geometric divisions frame a winter night—moonlight resting over a snow-covered landscape, held in a state of calm and reflection.

The contrast between sharp lines and soft atmospheric gradients echoes the nature of memory itself—fragmented yet vivid, distant yet deeply felt. Inspired by The Night We Met by Lord Huron, this piece reflects a sense of nostalgia and quiet longing, where time feels momentarily suspended.

It holds a space of stillness—where what once was remains present, just beyond reach.
